As we live with the uncertainty and worry of the Covid-19 virus, one thing is for sure, the Virgo Super Full Moon will arrive tonight! Whilst the Sun is in the zodiac sign of Pisces, the Full Super Moon, which arrives in our skies this evening, is in the opposite sign of Virgo. For those of us with clear skies, you will see the strength of the Full Moon once more as it reaches a point in its orbit which brings it closest to Earth. This makes the Full Moon appear brighter and larger for maximum impact!

The Virgo-Pisces Opposition has a special relationship. Whilst they possess qualities that are diametrically opposed to each other they share a similarity in form and seem to mirror and complement each other to a great degree. One of the most famous examples of this combination was Michael Jackson whose Moon and Ascendant energies were in Pisces, but whose Sun sign was in Virgo. His attention to detail (Virgo) was beyond compare, constantly perfecting his imagery and style while his pronounced Pisces energies allowed his creativity to shine brightly.
This combination in astrology is primarily concerned with self-sacrifice and the final purpose of the human mind and being. The aim of Virgo is the refinement of woman/man and her/his everyday environment while the elusive aim of Pisces is the refinement of the soul and its place in a spiritual or imagined realm. The Virgo Super Full Moon heralds the completion of a major cycle or project, the coming to an end of a period of time where attention to detail, dedication, service and healing has taken place and where patience and dignity has won over. This is a particularly rewarding ending, where clarity on what you have sown in the last month will bear fruit in the future.
Mercury goes Direct
Just as the Full Super Moon arrives in Virgo, so its ruling planet Mercury comes out of Retrograde and goes Direct in Aquarius for a week before entering the sign of Pisces once more. So expect revolutionary communications to be made easier and more achievable in the week ahead before a more compassionate and sensitive method of communication needs to be adopted from 16th March onwards.
